The Projects we support ;
- We at Nature Voyagers actively support on-going annual projects
of The World University Service (WUS) Moratuwa Branch. In 1994 we
financially contributed for the Lake Restoration Project conducted
by them at Kumana (Yala East National Park).
- In 1996 we financially contributed for a five-day environmental
awareness workshop held at the Sinharaja Rainforest Reserve. Conducted
to expose students to the natural environment and to increase their
awareness on ecological issues, this workshop was led by highly recognised
leading environmentalists of Sri Lanka, who are experts in a number
of environmental projects.
- Certain percentage of our profits will go in to a separate account
which will create a fund to contribute to nature conservation activities.
- We, together with our mother company, financially support the Tsunami Housing Project to re-build homes for affected people in the Balapitiya and Trincomalee areas. If you wish to obtain more details on this, please visit Aitken spence
